*Mordred has discovered the Sign and has a question to ask.* Have ya ever had the sort o' day where ya wished the universe would just end already? If so, how did ya deal with it?

"Should I wonder why you're pondering the end of the universe? Or should it not matter as long as it's not the one I'm living in?" While he prefers to be practical about these things, the end of the universe isn't a topic to be taken lightly. Plus there's the matter of keeping tabs on any new friends Duella's made, particularly given some slipped details about her old ones.

"There's nothing wrong with making your own choices," Ed says, tone gentle. "And it isn't just Lovecraftian Horrors that can completely fail at understanding their children." That's said a bit less softly... there are good reasons why, if he has any say in it, his children will never meet their grandparents on either side.

"Well, this is one of the better places to start. Have you found the Nexus Library yet?"

"I could show you where it is, if you'd like," Ed offers. He's actually impressed by the Nexus Library and enjoys introducing new people to it.

"You're welcome. It's this way, provided it hasn't moved." He's heard places here can do that, though he hasn't personally seen it yet. And apparently it hasn't, as he'll manage to lead the way to the Nexus Library.

The library, once they enter, is an obviously nexus-affected building. It's a lot larger inside than outside, with the shelves stretching off into the distance and small localised GPS devices (labeled LPS instead) for finding one's way around - or poles at the ends of the shelves and large balls of string for those not technologically inclined.

"So do I," Ed says. After all, there's something about having access to all the books from every timeline the Nexus has ever connected to that's just... intoxicating.

"There is a large section for music. There are books about art with various photographs., but physical artwork I haven't seen, though it could just be I haven't found the section yet. And movies have a subsection in the Histories section, as would be anything you might otherwise think of as fiction." After all, from a Nexus perspective, everything's real somewhere.

"Under the circumstances, no," Ed replies, amused. "You'll also notice 'histories' is plural."

Ed nods and starts to look over the shelves. As long as he's here, maybe he should get a head start on researching how to reverse engineer - or at least safely disassemble - those pokeballs laying around. They made some of the others on the island uncomfortable, but the underlying technology could be very useful. True, he could try reverse engineering them from scratch, but it would be less dangerous to have some kind of information on them from thier universe of origin first. He doesn't care for the idea of accidentally trapping himself in one. Particularly with some of what he'd heard about what could happen if they malfunctioned.
