Victor starts a little as one of them vanishes -- or, at least, seems to. He's not sure what to make of the lantern -- then another piece of chocolate bounces off his shoulder and he's occupied with shielding poor Nibbles. "Perhaps we should just move out of the candy storm entirely for now. . ."
"I don't see why not," he adds to the worried little Magelet. "You could just drop off the candy from here at home and then go out." He grins. "And then you'll have enough candy to last you through the rest of the year, I bet."
